The applicant for the position of Manager IT/IS should have minimum 8-12 years’ experience with a dynamic blend of leadership with results oriented performance. Should have experience in implementing IT Operations, Infrastructure Projects within scheduled timelines and excellent in dealing with high energy teams
Key Responsibilities
- Good at planning, design, documentation, and implementation of various systems including desktop PCs, network equipment, and client/servers software applications.
- Lead the local IT administrative team and resolve challenges the team encounters.
- Makes recommendations for new equipment and services to purchase and works with various vendors for procurement.
- Provide technical support to internal users.
- Creates and maintains good technical documentation.
- Provides emergency on-call support on a rotating schedule.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all internal IT infrastructures.
- Candidate should have working knowledge and experience with Routing and switching as well as a basic Enterprise architectural and engineering understanding of network services and security in VLAN, WAN and data centre environments.
- Generate reports for management in regards to service availability, uptime, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and Service level agreement set by management and client.
- Establish, Review and improve networking policies and approaches for smooth Operations.
- Maintain communication with functional managers and management to ensure issues are resolved.
Key Skills
- 2-3 years working experience in Configuring and Troubleshooting Site to Site VPN & VDI.
- Able to manage Windows Server
- Should be Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNA, CCNP)
- Should be able to Install, Configure Cisco Catalyst 3500 / 3550 / 3700 / 3900 / 4000 / 6500 series switches
- Experience in configuration and troubleshooting on Cisco and Fortigate Firewall
- Responsible for uptime of all standard infrastructural applications/services (Mail server, AD server, Cirtix Servers, Lync, Virus Scanner server, etc.) with proper monitoring through tools.
- Participate in evaluation process of any new product implementation in IT & needs to perform the POC for the same.
- Monitor & measure the effectiveness of all patch management engines (Antivirus, security, DLP, etc.).
- Monitor all day to day operational tasks being performed by the team & the vendor
