The company is looking for an expeienced SharePoint Developer for their office in Prague, The Czech Republic . As a SharePoint Developer your focus will be providing a high level of user satisfaction and adoption of applications and Enabling the Applications Development team to produce higher volume of business applications and streamline operations to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the Applications Development team and business units.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience producing high-quality, enterprise-grade, SharePoint Online/Office 365-based applications. To produce applications, the SharePoint Developer will leverage new and emerging technologies in support of the business.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications/Skills
- Conduct SharePoint portal development; primarily using Modern SharePoint pages in modern Team or Communication sites;
- Build custom daemon applications to automate SharePoint administration using C# or PowerShell;
- Enhance or develop Provider-Hosted and SharePoint-Hosted Add-Ins (apps) using C#, JavaScript and HTML;
- Maintain existing classic web-part pages as issues arise and transfer classic customizations to the modern experience using custom SharePoint Framework solutions or existing modern web parts;
- Provision SharePoint site collections in accordance with departmental information management and governance rules;
- As needed, and using third party software, copy or move SharePoint content across SharePoint Online tenants and site collections – including webs, lists, and list items;
- Manage SharePoint permissions – including group membership and role assignments for webs, lists and list items; and
- Perform second-tier user support for SharePoint – diagnose issues and provide prompt resolutions while maintaining timely contact with end-users.
Key Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field;
- Two to five (3-5) years of experience working as an enterprise SharePoint developer, application developer, or related role;
- SharePoint Online Service administration including Search, Business Data Connectivity, User Profile, Site Collection administration, and Managed Metadata services;
- SharePoint Online/2010/2013/2016 site configuration including Site Collection and Web features, permissions, taxonomy, Content Type Publishing (Content Type Hub), and page and portal development
JavaScript Object-Model (JSOM) and REST API in JavaScript/jQuery/HTML;
- The Software Development Lifecycle, specifically Agile and Waterfall methodologies;
- Demonstrated willingness and ability to learn new and emerging technologies; and
- Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical ability.
