Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering requirements and documenting them.
- Convert requirements/stories into fully functional features.
- Will be responsible for catalog development and workflows
- Act as the Senior ServiceNow application developer, responsible for implementing solution designs that adhere to best industry practices.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team and other developers during discovery sessions and process definition activities.
- Guide and facilitate the efforts in gathering requirements and developing/documenting process workflows to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure that all developed code adheres to architectural standards and aligns with the future direction of the ServiceNow platform.
- Design and implement user-centric workflows on the ServiceNow platform, focusing on creating intuitive and efficient user experiences.
- Utilize process engineering expertise to streamline and optimize workflows, enhancing overall efficiency and effectiveness across the platform.
- Remain updated on the latest ServiceNow releases and solutions, applying ITIL/ITSM best practices while prioritizing quality assurance and security in all implementations.
- Assist in troubleshooting production issues, manage time effectively, and work independently to meet project deadlines while providing support to team members as needed.
Key Job Requirements:
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferable Computer Science
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in ServiceNow development, with a strong focus on designing and developing catalogs and workflows development.
- Hands-on experience in ServiceNow architecture, design, development, implementation, and configuration.
- Strong experience developing ServiceNow solutions aligned with business and customer objectives.
- Experience in configuring and customizing all aspects of ServiceNow, including UI Actions, UI Policies, UI Pages, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Catalog Client Scripts, Catalog UI Policies, Email Scripts, and
Roles/Groups.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and CSM.
- Strong understanding of Service Portal technologies, Flow Designer, App Engine Studio, and UI Builder.
- Familiarity with web technologies including AngularJS, XML, SOAP, and REST.
- Solid understanding of the Common Services Data Model (CSDM) and the CMDB Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE) for data ingestion.
- Experience with structured data, schema design, and databases.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of Automation and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies, demonstrating experience in delivering solutions utilizing these frameworks.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Adaptability to understand complex business needs and quickly learn new technologies related to the ServiceNow platform.
- Experience working in large global or multinational corporations.
Additional Qualifications:
- Ability to leverage ITIL/ITSM and IAM standards for service catalogs, knowledge base, and access management.
