SAP FICO Functional Consultant – Senior Level

We are hiring an experienced SAP FICO Consultant for a project-based engagement with our European client in the manufacturing and consumer goods space. This is a fully remote role for India-based professionals with deep domain knowledge and global implementation experience on SAP ECC or SAP S/4 HANA platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead requirements gathering and gap-fit analysis sessions with business stakeholders.

• Configure and implement SAP FICO modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.

• Collaborate with global development teams to define functional specifications and guide RICEF development.

• Support testing phases by building test scenarios, preparing data, and validating SIT/UAT outcomes.

• Assist with data migration, cut-over activities, and go-live readiness planning.

• Conduct user training and develop knowledge transfer materials for end users and support staff.

• Resolve functional issues post go-live and ensure operational stability during hypercare.

• Integrate FICO processes with other SAP modules (SD, MM, PP, WM, etc.) for end-to-end process continuity.

Experience & Skills:

• 12 to 15 years of SAP FICO consulting experience with multiple end-to-end implementations.

• Proven expertise in configuring FICO submodules and handling complex integration scenarios.

• Strong process knowledge in record-to-report (RTR), order-to-cash (OTC), and procure-to-pay (PTP).

• Exposure to European statutory requirements including VAT, GDPR, and Euro-based transactions.

• Experience working in industries such as Consumer Goods, Pharma, or Manufacturing is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with both traditional (ASAP) and Agile delivery methodologies.

• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Comfortable working in a global delivery model with cross-cultural teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related discipline.
