Key Responsibilities:
SEO Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to achieve business goals and maximize organic search performance.
Conduct advanced keyword research and competitive analysis using the latest SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Keyword Planner).
Analyze market trends and identify high-impact opportunities for improving search rankings.
On-Page SEO:
Optimize website content, metadata, images, headers, and URL structures to improve SERP visibility.
Work with content creators to ensure that all new content is SEO-optimized and aligned with keyword strategies.
Utilize AI-powered tools such as Clearscope or SurferSEO to enhance content relevancy and keyword optimization.
Technical SEO:
Regularly audit the website for technical SEO issues using tools like Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, or Sitebulb.
Address technical problems such as crawl errors, site speed, mobile optimization, schema markup, and indexing issues.
Improve website speed and performance using PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, and GTmetrix to achieve top-tier Core Web Vitals scores.
Off-Page SEO & Link Building:
Develop and execute effective link-building strategies using tools like BuzzSumo, Majestic, and Ahrefs to identify link-building opportunities.
Monitor and improve domain authority and trustworthiness through high-quality backlinks and partnerships.
Analyze competitors’ backlink profiles and leverage gap analysis to acquire valuable links.
Content Optimization & Strategy:
Collaborate with the content team to ensure content is created with SEO best practices in mind, targeting both short-tail and long-tail keywords.
Use tools like Frase or MarketMuse to optimize content and ensure it aligns with search intent and content gaps.
Optimize for voice search and featured snippets by leveraging tools like Answer the Public and SEMrush's Keyword Magic Tool.
Analytics & Reporting:
Use Google Analytics and Google Search Console to monitor and analyze website performance, keyword rankings, and traffic sources.
Prepare monthly SEO performance reports using data from Data Studio, Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs, providing actionable insights.
Measure and track KPIs such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, backlinks, and conversion rates to evaluate SEO effectiveness.
Stay Current with SEO Trends:
Keep up-to-date with the latest SEO algorithm updates (e.g., Google Core Updates) and industry developments.
Continuously experiment with new SEO tools and methodologies, such as AI-driven SEO tools, SEO automation tools, and the latest Google algorithms.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with developers, UX/UI designers, and other marketing teams to integrate SEO best practices into all aspects of the website and marketing campaigns.
Assist with integrating SEO insights into other digital marketing strategies, such as PPC, social media, and email marketing.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in SEO (on-page, off-page, and technical).
In-depth understanding of SEO tools and software, including SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Moz, and others.
Experience with AI-powered SEO tools such as Frase, Clearscope, or SurferSEO is a plus.
Experience in eCommerce SEO, managing large websites, or SEO for SaaS platforms is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
Advanced knowledge of SEO best practices, algorithms, ranking factors, and strategies.
Strong proficiency in analyzing SEO data and trends using the latest tools (e.g., SEMrush, Google Analytics, Ahrefs).
Hands-on experience with SEO audit tools like Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, or Sitebulb.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for SEO purposes.
Familiarity with structured data and schema markup implementation.
Knowledge of page speed optimization and Core Web Vitals.
Ability to work with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Joomla) and website builders.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in SEO or Digital Marketing (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot Inbound Marketing).
Experience with SEO in eCommerce or other high-traffic industries.
Experience integrating SEO with paid search (Google Ads, Bing Ads) and social media.
Experience with SEO automation tools and processes to streamline SEO tasks.
