Job Responsibilities / Key Result Areas (KRAs)
- Supporting Fortinet and CISCO network infrastructure
- Network security support, checkpoint, and FortiGate firewall configuration
- Work with Internet service providers for Creating External BGP peering
- Creation and maintaining company ADVPN, IPSEC VPN and SSL VPN.
- Incident Management and Change management. Diagnose and troubleshoot support issues based on the alerts that come in,
- Escalate the issues to the Service Providers for any connectivity related issues.
- Monitoring 3rd party monitoring SOC alerts, which would notify us to triage, if there is an issue.
Job Requirements (Qualifications/Certifications/ Experience/Skills etc.)
- Minimum 5+ years of related experience supporting Fortinet and CISCO products
- Experience with FortiWeb, FortiSwitch, FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiGate, FortiNAC and other Fortinet products - Experience in installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment.
- Must have good experience with Cisco – Customer is still transitioning to Fortinet products, so there are still Cisco Products in use. You need to be comfortable with Cisco ASA, Cisco Switches, Cisco routers, Cisco VOIP (if possible).
- Experienced in setting up monitoring\backups platform as this would be a new build out.
- Good at documenting network environments and providing proactive recommendations
- NSE Certification - NSE 4 (NSE 7 preferable)
Qualification: BE (Computer Science)/ MCA or equivalent degree.
