SUMMARY OF POSITION
PCM’s Information Security Team is seeking an IT System Security Engineer who will be a great addition to the rest of the team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in relevant Information Assurance and complete knowledge of Risk Management. The candidate shall have all cybersecurity training, certification, and tracking requirements.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Review system hardware/software design and architecture documentation and prepare materials addressing security technical issues.
- Support product integrity analysis, development of security test plans, procedures, test reports, and security assessments
- Provide cyber security subject matter expertise for the deployed instances of system as tasked, and assist in the identification and assessment of site-specific technical requirements.
- Provide technical support for Vulnerability Management compliance, analysis, and tracking for the accredited baseline. Provide IAVM status input into the Vulnerability Management System for the systems supported.
- Create Risk Assessment Report
- Commence final scans for System hardening.
- Review findings from final scans
- Be responsible for operating, tuning, and reviewing maintenance of all cyber security tools, software suites, devices, appliances and systems, including, but not limited to:
- Cisco SourceFire, PaloALto Firewalls, F5 ASM, Rapid7 Vulnerabilty manager and Metasploit, Qualys, Symantec , RSA Netwitness
WHAT TO BRING
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- 4+ Experience in information security or related field.
- 4+ Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques. CEH
- Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts. RSA Netwitness, Cisco sourceFire, PaloAlto Networks, Cisco IronPort, Symantec
- Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them. Rapid7 Vulnerability manager, Metasploit, Qualys
- Understanding of patch management with the ability to deploy patches in a timely manner while understanding business impact.
