Our client is a rapidly expanding networking technology company, offering Internet services in Afghanistan and Systems Integration and Network Connectivity across the Middle-East and Africa. We are currently expanding our footprint to include an office in India, and looking for a General Manager to head up this team.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the local office, team of staff and meet defined productivity objectives
- Lead pre-sales engineering and vendor contacts to build excellent RFx/Tender responses
- Assist in content production of collateral and marketing assets
- Update web-content, case studies and social media
- Undertake supporting tasks as required
Key Skills
- 5+ Years people management experience in a technology environment
- Proven experience of responding to detailed tenders/RFXs and writing bid responses
- Excellent English skills and ability to collate information between internal contacts and partner companies to build strong business proposals
- Good knowledge of MS Office, including Powerpoint, Word and Excel
- Understanding of data networking, software and the technology industry, with vendor certifications and formal qualifications a bonus
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks, provide attention to detail and work proactively
- Excellent communication, presentation, planning and organisational, and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written)
- Self-driven, results-oriented, creative, analytical and confident
- Flexible approach to working hours and willing to work additional hours at short notice when required
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant academic field, with MBA a bonus
