- Spearhead website changes to increase our market reach and improve our USP
- Continuously optimize site for speed and other aspects.
- Upload content.
- Recommend and execute changes to front-end layout.
- Collaborate with teams to define, design and ship new features.
- Unit-test code for robustness, usability and reliability.
- Work on bug fixing and improving performance.
Job Requirements (Qualifications/Certifications/Experience/Skills etc.)
- Proven track record in Magento development roles.
- Certified Magento Developer
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- BSc in Computer Science, engineering or related field; Masters level relevant degree is a plus.
- 3-5 years’ experience in Magento development.
- Excellent knowledge in object oriented PHP
- Strong knowledge of javascript, HTML, CSS and related tools
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, i.e. MySQL
- Able to write clean and readable code and test.
- Prior experience with an eCommerce company
Preferable but not requirement:
- Prior experience with a tech start up
- Willing and able to move to Kuwait immediately.
