Job Responsibilities / Key Result Areas (KRAs)
- Administration of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Tools and Applications.
- Providing daily system support and maintenance on PeopleSoft applications.
- Refresh PeopleSoft development databases from production using data dump export/import.
- PeopleSoft infrastructure installations and configurations.
- Environment maintenance, database refreshes, change management, production support.
- Monitoring application and web server tiers running on VMWare ESX Server.
- Collaborate with other support groups (e.g. Oracle DBA, Platform, etc.) to establish proper support of PeopleSoft applications per corporate mandates.
- Ready to provide on-call support nights and weekends.
Job Requirements (Qualifications/Certifications/ Experience/Skills etc.)
- Expertise in both Application & Database Administration.
- Expertise on PeopleSoft Project Migration and Data Mover Script Execution
- Ability to Install/Configure People Soft's entire PIA architecture i.e. DB - Server, Web Server, Application Server, Process Scheduler & File Server.
- PeopleSoft Administrator activities - Setting up the Server Node, Report Node, IB, PS Security & Installation and configuration of the PSOL
- Using change assistant applying maintenance packs, bundles, patches, fixes.
- Implemented the load balancer on PS Web Server, Application Server.
- Expertise in setting up, maintaining and supporting Production & Development environments.
- Implemented Single Sign-On (SSO) between Enterprise PORTAL and HCM, FSCM, EPM, CRM applications.
- Experience in hot/cold backup mechanisms using RMAN, Some experience on Data Guard , Oracle RAC
- Good understanding of database and application tuning
Education: BE/MCA and/or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience
