Our client is a well established Sydney-based, dynamic and growing, software and IT services company, focused primarily on the insurance and government sectors. The company designs, builds and supports game changing solutions for the clients. Their blue chip clients demand the highest levels of expertise and professionalism. Their team is mostly based in Sydney, but have additional key team members in various locations around the world.

The company requires a full-time highly competent, technically minded all rounder who can complete a wide range of tasks ranging from IT system testing, business analysis, data analysis and report writing. 
 
Your initial role will be primarily focused on testing for at least a year where you will be undertaking both manual tests on systems and databases and automated tests (both executing them and creating additional ones). Once you are familiar with our systems and processes, we want you to contribute in various other areas of our business. As we are a small team, your flexibility and broad range of skills will make you a valuable member of our team. You must be willing and prepared to perform whatever task may be required.
 
We want someone strong, confident, and able to speak to clients and lead parts of engagements as a core member of our team. To fit into our team you need to be a quick learner, have attention to detail, and be highly motivated.
 
You need to be prepared to work the majority of your day overlapping Sydney time (Australian Eastern time).
 

Key Responsibilities/Skills:
- 5+ years IT System testing experience
- 3+ years automated testing experience with an established testing automation framework 
- 3+ years Technical BA experience
- 3+ years Technical experience with databases using sql queries 
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- ETL and BI reporting and dashboarding would be desirable
- Good technical writing skills
- Fluent English speaker
- 5+ years insurance industry experience preferred, solid understanding of insurance processes and systems
 
Qualifications: Bacheloer's Degree in IT and/or business
