Job Responsibilities / Key Result Areas (KRAs)
- Coding web applications for clients-- e-commerce, data collection, scalable web presence, and plenty of new stuff
- Create the next generation of a mission-critical platform and associated APIs
- Collaborating with technical and business teams on client requirements and specifications
- Solving interesting problems for the most varied and sophisticated client base.
- Implement the latest open-source tools
Job Requirements (Qualifications/Certifications/ Experience/Skills etc.)
- 5+ years of experience with Python/Django
- Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Senior-level object-oriented design and development experience
- Appreciation of Agile environments
- Understanding of automated testing frameworks and TDD methodologies
- Understanding of web application technologies, e.g. public key encryption, security/privacy issues, web services (REST, SOAP, etc.), and SQL-based scripting.
- Ability to play with other tools: Ruby, Java, .Net, shell scripting, or JavaScript
