Job Responsibilities / Key Result Areas (KRAs)
- Analyze, design, build, test and deploy new functionality, as well as analyzing, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Modify existing PeopleSoft components, create custom bolt-on applications, and integrate between other PeopleSoft and non-PeopleSoft applications.
- Works to understand system issues and provide the resolutions thereof.
- Adhere to documented System Development Life Cycle standards (programming, testing, documentation, incident reporting, etc.).
- Adhere to global best practices, company policies and procedures regarding change control, naming conventions, and change management.
- Perform design, development, and system test of Change Requests as determined by client requirements and department procedures.
- Interact with third party resources as necessary for programming and interfacing.
- Provide support and maintenance of existing customizations and application functionality on an Oracle platform.
- Support production and maintenance in the other functional and technical areas of PeopleSoft systems Communicate effectively, get along with coworkers and management, and deal with others effectively and professionally under pressure.
Job Requirements (Qualifications/Certifications/ Experience/Skills etc.)
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Implementation and Support projects.
- Good Technical skills in on Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, PeopleTools, Component Interface, File Layout, Data Mover, Query Manager ,Process Scheduler , Excel to CI and SQR.
- Hands on experience on Campus Solutions 9.0
- Expertise in Upgrade, Implementation, Migration, Data Conversion & Interface Development of PeopleSoft Applications.
- Strong experience in implementation projects and conversion projects with sound delivery track record
- Sound analytical and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of Campus community, Student records, and Academic advisement will be a plus.
- Good verbal and written Communication Skills.
Education: BE/MCA and/or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience
