Our client, a Singapore based technology company, provides Information and Communication Technology (ICT) solutions for agriculture industries. They partner with world-class Information and Communication Technology service and infrastructure providers to deliver innovative systems meeting the needs of the agriculture industry. Their flagship product, Agriculture Management Information System, enables transparency, traceability and compliance of agricultural produce with international regulations. They are recognized as a leader in their field by some of the largest international manufacturers of products which use crop products as raw material inputs.

The company plans to open a development cum support center In Noida, India for implementations and product support, which will initially house around 10-12 people.

About the role:

The Project Manager will be responsible for day-to-day management of the India office, a branch devoted to providing technical and administrative support for the parent company. The ideal candidate will be a technical manager with ten years experience in a cross-discipline management position, and have a postgraduate Business Administration degree with focus or extensive experience in Information Systems and Project Management.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge in the following technical domains:

- Systems administration

- PHP

- Java

- OOP/MVC structures

- Linux

- SQL (esp. MySQL)

- Project management.

Occasional travel will be required to meet clients and gather project requirements.

The Project Manager will report to the Technical Director who is based in Singapore.

Experience: 8 years plus
