Job Responsibilities / Key Result Areas (KRAs)
- Manage the team by establishing and communicating project goals and direction
- Analyze business requirements and prepare user and system requirement specifications documents.
- Prepare detailed software specifications for applications, systems, interfaces, files and reports.
- Create detailed database and application design documents, update database schemas, create or update User Interfaces and reports
- Develop applications using VB, .NET, MS SQL Server and other Microsoft technologies.
- Manage revision control and source control
- Mentor junior programmers and new hires and provide guidance to other teams on joint efforts.
- Monitors project schedules and costs.
- Provide regular updates on the projects progress to the management
- Interacting with external vendors to support integration with third party systems
Job Requirements (Qualifications/Certifications/ Experience/Skills etc.)
- 5+ years of development experience in designing and building client server and web-based applications using Microsoft technologies
- Agile development experience
- Excellent development expertise in Microsoft.NET (C#.NET, VB.NET, MS/SQL, WPF, Silver light, ASP.NET, MVP technologies
- Proficient in designing application GUI, prototyping, database tables, stored procedures, functions and triggers using Microsoft technologies
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Troubleshooting experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Exposure to best development practices
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MCA or equivalent degree
Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience
