Our client, a large international bank with offices in New York, US is seeking Java Software Engineer with 5+ years of Java experience and strong banking domain experience with an ability to work independently and within a team.
The company is looking for a talented, creative and energetic Software Developer with proven architecture, design and implementation skills in web based enterprise class, high availability and high scalability applications.
Duties and Responsibilities
This highly technical leader will be responsible for the architecture and development of key functional areas of the banking Applications to ensure the system effectively delivers business values and is highly in secure, scalable and reliable.
* Banking software development experience and expertise in system programming and object oriented design
* 5+ years developing and supporting applications for a large bank
* Strong overall technical skills in Java/J2EE, Oracle, and Reporting Tools; i.e. Crystal Reports or Business Objects running on Windows and/or Unix
* Strong expertise in banking domain, ideally in Payments and/or Cash Management area

* Excellent communication skills
* Promote best coding standards and design principles
* Proven experience with working in fast paced, small teams that follow flexible and adaptive methodologies
* A fast learner and creative problem solver

Qualification: BS or MS in Computer Science
Experience: 5+ years developing and supporting applications in Payments and/or Cash Management area in a large bank.
