Our client, operating in Europe, Asia and Australia, is a leading provider of financial solutions to the BFSI industry. The company is looking to recruit a full-time Senior PHP Web Developer, as part of their young, dynamic and lean web technologies team, for their Gurgaon office.
A successful developer must be able to succeed in a dynamic environment with diverse and global team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design interactive and intuitive web applications.
- Lead projects through the entire software development lifecycle
- Analyze, Design, develop and test new and the existing web-based software applications
- Prepare technical design specs for the development team and the technical documentation for end-user training
- Write well-structured, testable and efficient code using programming best practices
- Plan and deploy software releases.
- Perform code reviews for peer developers
- Timely escalate any issues requiring attention of the manager and/or business stakeholders
Experience/Key Skills
- 5+ Years of solid PHP Development including 3+ years working on MYSQL
- Strong expertise in JavaScript & AJAX Techniques
- Should have worked in test driven development environment
- Good understanding of Web Application Security principles
- Experience working with Agile, lean, or similar development methodologies
- Prior experience of XML/XSLT for data importing and integration highly desired.
- Should be able to work individually, and as a part of a team to quickly analyze and resolve critical issues in the production environment
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, similar technical degree
