Our client is a software development company based in Ethiopia with a young, energetic and diverse team working on many innovative products. They seek an experienced Full Stack/ UI Developer for their office Addis Ababa.
The hired person will be working in a team on diverse and usually unique projects. To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate knowledge in critical thinking and design patterns to solve problems as well as creating interactive user interfaces. Proficiency with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, NodeJS, MongoDB, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is required.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with the Development Manager on current development tasks.
Work with development team to design and implement features.
Quickly produce well - organized, optimized, and documented source code.
Responsible for building high-traffic and data-intensive applications.
Debug existing source code and polish feature set.
Responsible for graphics design contents such as banners, sprites and icons.
Work independently when required.
Continuously learn and improve skills.
Requirements:
3+ years of professional experience and a degree in Software Development or related field
Proficiency with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
Hands on JavaScript experience with AngularJS and NodeJS
Hands on NoSQL experience with MongoDB
Mobile APP development experience with Cordova or Xamarin Forms
1+ year experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or any related tool of convenience
Familiar with Agile methodologies and version control
Creative, curious and fun
English language fluency.
Beneficial Skills:
C# and ASP.NET Web API experience is a big plus
SQL Server experience Is a big plus
