Project manager with 8-10 years experience managing medium to complex open source PHP website projects, that may include web and application development and integration of e-commerce, social media, event calendars, forums, business directories, photo galleries, various others plugins available and connections to a variety of databases.
Preference will be given to those with some mobile app development and extensive experience with browser, mobile and tablet compatibility.

Job Responsibilities / Key Result Areas (KRAs)
- Have access to a vast network of reliable web shops and contractors in India and other country in the South Asian region
- Researching, recruiting, specifying website and application development resources
- Awarding projects to qualified vendors upon budget approval
- Writing project briefs and specifications, based on supplied scope documents
- Evaluating and negotiating project budgets and work plans with web vendors
- Project milestone evaluation, timeline supervision and adherence
- Project quality control and assurance against pre-established project specifications
- Approve interim project payments to vendors based on evaluation
- Writing/or editing of website CMS training manuals produced by the vendors
- Providing daily/weekly update on project status
- Providing advice on trends in software app compatible with global standards
Job Requirements (Qualifications/Certifications/ Experience/Skills etc.)
- Solid understanding of web technology and application development
- Strong project management skills to ensure projects be delivered on budget and on time
- Proficient with Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal CMS, and any other open source PHP content management systems
- Understanding server technology and hosting services
- Understanding search engine optimization (SEO) and be able to implement or supervise the implementation of SEO by vendors
- Capability to troubleshoot and address maintenance issues on our existing deployed websites
- Willingness to continue to upgrade their own skill set and stay current in latest CMS developments and other internet software developments
- Social Media savvy or knowledgeable
- High-attention to detail
- Preferably someone that has worked as a consultant before
- Someone who wants to be his/her own boss and have high earning potential
- A person that can work independently without immediate supervision
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills
- Flexible to attend phone and skype meetings in the morning and evening
- Preferably someone with mobile app project management development experience
- Be responsive – be able to provide prompt response (within 24 hours or less)
Education: Computer Science degree with a business minor
