They partner with world-class Information and Communication Technology service and infrastructure providers to deliver innovative systems meeting the needs of the agriculture industry. Their flagship product, Agriculture Management Information System [AMIS], enables transparency, traceability and compliance of agricultural produce with international regulations. The company is recognized as a leader in its field by some of the largest international manufacturers of products which use crop products as raw material inputs.
They plan to open a development cum support center In Noida for implementations and product support, which will initially house around 10-12 people.
About the role:
System Admin will be responsible for ensuring security, uptime, and proper configuration of the company's infrastructure. Ideal candidates will have a post-secondary degree in Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related discipline, with two or more years experience managing Linux-based servers.
The candidate must be able to tune performance, configure firewalls, and proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
Experience including, but not limited to, the following technologies is required:
- Linux Server
- Apache
- MySQL server
- pf/iptables/firewalls
- Revision control systems
- Mail servers, ftp
- System shells, shellscripting
- Network configuration, DNS.
- The System Admin will report into, Senior System Admin who in turn will report into Development Head.
