The company seeks an Implementation and Support Engineer – VOIP for its telecom business.
Job Objective & Key Result Areas
• Responsibility includes configuration, deployment, testing, maintenance, monitoring and trouble-shooting of telephony components to provide a robust voice communications platform.
• Act as the technical support, providing expertise on projects; designing, implementing, and supporting mission critical corporate networks and complex converged infrastructures.
• Plan, design, implement and manage projects that include new locations or deploying new technologies across the network.
• Handle complex tasks relating to Telephony operations, installation, and/or maintenance
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
Experience: 3 - 6 years
Technical Proficiency:
• Experience in installing and maintaining VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) Experience. This could be of any equipment such as Cisco (VOIP Gateway) or any other manufactures.
• Experience in LCR (Least Cost Routing).
• Knowledge in CDR (Call Details Records). The person has to know how to convert raw CDR to billable CDR.
• Trouble shooting telecom equipments. This will give the person the knowledge in expediting clearing problems with the customers such as PDD (Post Dial Delay), short call cutoff, cross talking and all the normal problem occurs during telephone conversation.
