Our client is a California, US based privately held GPS vehicle tracking company formed in 2012 by a group of executives with more than 50 years of combined experience in the industry. With strong financial backing to take this project from concept to launch stage the company believes that their solution is innovative and will disrupt the industry as it is known today.
The company plans to
hire a Project Manager cum Development Head for their development center in India. This is a mid-high level management position with primary responsibilities of the candidate including, among others, to setup and manage India Development Center for the group and to manage a team of software engineers, designers, electronic engineers and other talent.
The position requires proven technical leadership abilities and strong hands on experience in C++/.NET technologies with to design/build the initial application framework.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinating with company’s Head Architect based in the US to set the project in motion. This will require writing the initial code as well as assimilating the framework under which the development will take place.
- Coordinate with Head Architect to ensure project progress
- Build India delivery team of Software Developers, Designers and other roles required within the delivery team
- Train, coach, arrange and supervise India Staff
- Ensure all deliverables are in speced, built and tested

10+ years of total experience out of which minimum 4+ years in a lead/managerial role
