Our client, a mid-sized German EPC firm, plans to recruit a senior Weblogic Administrator/Consultant to be part of their Application Engineering team based in SaudiArabia. The recruited consultant will be responsible for the design, planning, management, and operational support of their Enterprise Middleware infrastructure.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Planning, installation, management, configuration and support of Oracle Weblogic and Identity/Access Management stack based on the requirement of the architecture team
- Providing expert recommendations and attaining approvals for major enhancements to existing systems
- Evaluating new and ongoing projects that require middleware solutions and provide appropriate design solutions as an expert consultant
- Provide level 3 support for entire Weblogic infrastructure viz. WebLogic Server, Portal, AquaLogic Bus, Data Services and Oracle BPM
- Play technology consultant role within the organization in the area of Fusion Middleware application architecture and implementation
- Coordinate with the management on plans and status
- Responsible for security in compliance based on organization’s requirements
- Reviewing performance metrics of deployed applications and addressing the performance bottlenecks
- Perform scheduled server maintenance
- Design and document the automate processes 
 
Required kills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT/computer science or equivalent from a reputed university
- 8+ years of solid experience in managing and administering Oracle Weblogic Server
- Must have a very good understanding of J2EE, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Web Services, LDAP, XML, Access Management and Identity Management concepts/frameworks
- Use of automation scripting tools like WLST, Jython and ANT
- Strong Linux, Unix and AIX platform experience
- Experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL). Foundation or expert level certification will be a definite advantage
- Good project management and team handling skills. PMP certification will be a plus
- OCP certification is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with the management and the other stakeholders. Working knowledge of German and/or Arabic will be a plus 
- Experience dealing with external agencies or vendors 
-       Exposure to industry best practices in server infrastructure management
- Prior expertise in upgrading the Oracle Application Server environment to Fusion Middleware 11g
- Excellent understanding and implementation experience on Single Sign-On solutions using Oracle Access and Identity Managers
- Prior experience working for an EPC company is highly desireable
- Knowledge of Oracle Database will be a plus
