Job Responsibilities:
- Working with 'off the shelf' software the post holder will modify and integrate the product into the existing network specifically to suit the Ghanaian market.
- To propose, innovate and develop software improvements aimed at improving efficiency and sharpening customer focus positioning the company as the leading electronic payment provider.
- To monitor, review and maintain and develop all current systems.
- To ensure company’s payment platform is a leader in the market by presenting ideas for system improvements, including cost proposals.
- To lead on development and implementation of all new updates on the platform.
- To work on all aspects of software development with analysts, designers and management.
- To produce detailed specifications and write the program codes as required.
- To ensure full functionality by testing the product in controlled real situations before going live.
- To lead and guide on the preparation of training manuals and quick reference guides for users.
Job Requirements:
- A working knowledge of C language.
- Significant proven experience of developing software and integrating it with hardware.
- The ability to communicate technical detail, processes and procedures concisely and coherently to staff at all levels as necessary.
- Experience of working successfully within a team
- Excellent analytical skills
- Good organizational skills
- An appreciation and understanding of the bigger business picture, not just its IT requirements.
- Working knowledge of C++ language, ASP.NET and MS SQL
- Experience in embedded software
- Prior team lead experience with be an advantage
The recruited candidate will be sent to Paris, France for 1-2 week training with on the payment platform and will subsequently work in Ghana on development projects.
