Our client, a NASDAQ listed company with offices in over 13 countries across the globe and an industry leader in brokerage services, is looking for accomplished Java/C++ developers to build and maintain their trading platform and back-end settlement systems.
The job involves designing, developing, implementing and supporting an efficient trading and settlement platform using cutting edge technology. An ideal candidate would have excellent domain expertise, strong designing and development experience building real time and high availability applications for international financial institutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Capturing detailed business requirements and preparing detailed specification documents
- Preparing or updating high level and detailed design specification and testing documents
- Developing high availability and highly scalable solutions using J2EE framework
- Providing technical leadership to team members for solving the critical issues
- Work with the onsite engineering team based in the US high performance solutions
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant work experience working on complex trading platforms
- 5+ years of strong experience working in BFSI industry with good understanding of Brokerage, Exchange traded derivatives (ETD) and other capital markets instruments
- Strong Java development skills using C++, JDBC, Servlets, JSP, EJB, JavaBeans, HTML, XML, and JavaScript with excellent exposure in J2ee.
- Highly proficient in designing n-tier Enterprise application with J2EE design patterns like model2 MVC architecture.
- Strong Oracle database (server side) programming expertise
- Prior experience working on online trading platforms
- Prior experience working on commodity and financial derivatives will be an added advantage.

- Experience working with a global team in a multi-location delivery environment
Education: BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, MCA or related technical degree from an Indian or International institution
Experience: 6+ yrs of JAVA/C++ experience
