Job Responsibilities / Key Result Areas (KRAs)
- Gather business requirements.
- Develop application prototypes for analysis.
- Develop and implement robust, reusable source code.
- Enhance and modify existing applications in production.
- Support various implemented applications.
- Provide application server and database server support wherever needed.
- Prepare documentation for developed applications and code.
Job Requirements (Qualifications/Certifications/ Experience/Skills etc.)
- A minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing object oriented software applications with .NET (3.5 or 4.0) technologies especially C# and ASP .Net.
- A deep understanding of relational databases and SQL and a minimum of 3 years experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005/ 2008.
- Experience deploying software applications to the IIS web server.
- Experience and knowledge of WCF, Web Services, SOAP, XML, HTML, CSS, AJAX, JSON, MVC and other design patterns.
- Knowledge of the travel/ hotel industry including CRS, PMS, GDS and OTA’s.
- An ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing project requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline.
Experience: 5+ yrs of relevant experience
