Job Responsibilities / Key Result Areas (KRAs)
- Configure and coordinate installation and troubleshooting of voice network equipment and circuits and document per company standards and policies.
- Works directly with Customers to identify voice communications needs and requirements and makes appropriate recommendations to Management if solution does not exist within current environment.
- Provides rotating On-Call coverage to work hand-in-hand with Avaya’s Operations Services Group to provide prompt repair and other duties under the Managed Services contract.
Job Requirements (Qualifications/Certifications/ Experience/Skills etc.)
- An experience with planning, configuring, and implementing
- Call Center, and handling all related programs, and features.
- An experience with installing and configuring Avaya IP
- Phones, IP Soft phones, IP Agents, IP Soft agents, and IP
- Trunks, a good experience with configuring and maintain CMS, BCMS, Center vu supervisor, and Intuity Audix.
- CTI components implementation, E1’s interfaces, connections.
- Integration, with other systems such as AIC, AES, ICM.
- A good knowledge with LAN, WAN, ATM, SONET, E1
- A good knowledge with computers, servers and operating Systems
- Ability to support, and train customer.
- Min of 8 years’ of Project Management experience managing voice system implementations in a complex enterprise environment.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Voice and Data engineering (Avaya preferred).
- Strong experience working within an integrated voice, data and video system.
- Strong experience and knowledge of LAN/WAN infrastructures, topologies and protocols.
- Experience with or strong knowledge of MS Lync integration with the Avaya platform.
Education: A good first degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science and any other related discipline. Masters Degree and Certification in Engineering related discipline is an advantage
Experience: A minimum of 8 years post-graduate experience in a similar position
