The company is looking for an Application Developer, who will focus on the design, coding, testing, quality assurance of complex product features within a development team.
Job Responsibilities / Key Result Areas (KRAs)
- Gathering business requirements and transforming into high quality technical designs with scalability and flexibility as well as implementing the design
- Design systems improvements and extensions
- Provide Pre and Post Sales development support
- Provide technical appraisal and presentation of client needs and potential solutions
- Respond to technical sections of Request for Proposals/Information/Quotations
- Solution Execution
- Deliver on all solution commitments on time and within budget
- Provide 1st & 2nd level support through processing customer messages on different components
- Maintain deep solution competence and act as a subject matter expert within own functional specification
- Mentor and transfer solution knowledge to other team members
- Demonstrate broad knowledge of SAP’s entire solution suite
Job Requirements (Qualifications/Certifications/ Experience/Skills etc.)
- Minimum 5 years experience developing enterprise application software, with particular focus on analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing
- Understand applications and be able to engage in technical discussions and presentations with other teams and parties
- Familiarity with object oriented programming language e.g. ABAP, Java, C++
- Good understanding of Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing
- Excellent verbal and written communication
Education: Bachelor’s degree. Software engineering certifications will be an added advantage
Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience
