Job Responsibilities / Key Result Areas (KRAs)
- Serve as a liaison between the Finance function and IT to provide technical and business solutions that meet user needs.
- Should carry a very strong Process and Consulting Knowledge, (especially on Finance and Accounting side) capable of designing and articulating approaches and solutions at a higher level, and most importantly relate to the problem.
- Translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications for IT and manage changes to those specifications.
- Analyze and understand Finance/Accounting strengths and weaknesses to identify opportunities for automating processes and functions.
- As applicable, may lead small to medium, low-complexity projects.
- Conducts business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses in order to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.
- Analyzes and evaluates design existing and/or proposed systems.
- Collaborates with functional design and assist teams in providing configuration solutions for business requirements.
- Provides ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
- Provides information, guidance, and assistance to more junior level employees.
Job Requirements (Qualifications/Certifications/ Experience/Skills etc.)
- Minimum of 4 + years of experience in Oracle Financials
- Experience of working in min 2 end-to-end Oracle EBS implementation, and should have played role of financial lead/Business Analyst.
- Strong in Core Financial Modules 11i & R12. Should have been involved in at least 1 upgrade project from 11i to R12
- Implementation experience for Multi organization, Inter Company, Multiple Legers, & MRC
- Should have carried hands on experience in core financial modules such as General Ledger, Payables, Expenses, Mark view, Fixed Assets
- Good knowledge of supply chain modules (INV, PO & OM)
- Experience in real-time reconciliation & closing of periods in sub-ledgers & General Ledger
- Experience on approach to instance splitting/Divestiture and designing the strategy for the same would be nice to have.
- Strong communication, and past experience of driving design and workshop sessions with Finance business users
